Rock on. Way to go man. Seriously. Quite satisfying to see such a mess and then its gone. You did it. You were a positive force in the universe and your town.
Thank you so much for the appreciation. Means a lot.
bro. the positive impact cannot be understated. Even if its completely back the way it was yin 24 hours you affected change. 90% of people on earth will never come close to this.
I doubt that. People are more likely to litter if they see lots of it already. Litter is a catalyst for litter. There will be more, but it'll be gradual.
Nice man! Keep up the good work!
For the rest of us: There is a broad consensus in the scientific community that climate change is occurring and heavily accelerated by humans. An easy way to get educated on the matter? By watching a documentary, of course.
Yep. Happy to express it.
You’re the best
I had been working on a race track cleaning rubbish in the summer for 5 years, this is the best feeling - looking at a hill, all full of bottles, cans and stuff, you go there and one hour later its completely clean.
I go to Santa Pod each summer. I don’t understand the mentality of people who leave their rubbish on the hill, or at their campsites. There are bins everywhere, and it’s not like a stadium where you’re stuck in your seat. You empty a can, you can easily get up and throw it away, or save it to throw away on your next trip to the loo.
Now, to do it all over again next month.
Or maybe he’ll inspire someone else to do it. Doing it just once is better than not doing it.
That’s a lot of trash bags. Thanks for dedicating the time!
You even bagged that beard!
Awe he even swept and everything
I am glad you noticed actually it was worse there were human feces involved in the trash which I literally had to put in a separate bag.
I don't think I've encountered any kind of poop that is a pleasant smell.
Out of cat, dog, and human. I find the human's poop to be noticably worse.
It's most likely to carry diseases that will infect a human, so we evolved the tendency to find it especially unfavorable.
Black bears that have just been munching on grass and blueberries have poop that just kinda smells like blueberries.
Chowing down on some garbage or salmon though? Oh damn.
Dude!... If that was me I would've given up right there. Feces are way beyond my capabilities. Can't even look at one
You don't look at your own creation every morning? Come on man, you gotta respect your body's creative expression.
Yooooooooo brother, wtf? My man fightin' the good fight out there.
Was wondering if that was a poop log behind you. Good for you man. You’re an inspiration.
You went above and beyond. Thank you for helping us all, even if we aren’t there.
Top pic kinda looks like someone may have taken huge crap while pissing at the same time, I can only imagine what the rest of the place looks like. Be safe cleaning this stuff up.
I wonder what it’s going to look like in a week when all the people who don’t follow hash tag trends just continue to throw their rubbish in the streets where they live. My guess, exactly the same as the before picture.
Still a good effort and def better than nothing. But possibly only a temporary thing.
The only war India - Pakistan should be fighting should be who does more for the environment (better, faster). Which country is the first to alleviate people out of poverty? Which country does the most for education?
This war would be worth winning.
Absolutely can get behind that war. Absolutely.
The only war which is actually beneficial for the country and the citizens
And the best thing is, everyone would be a winner here, no losers.
We would be celebrating Diwali and Eid together. And enjoy cross border food.
We would have live concerts of your musicians and our movies will be screened there.
We would fall in love with girls there and vice versa.
We would make the subcontinent a cool and safe place for people to hang out and have a great time.
And Cricket.... Don't forget 🏏
As an American who loves my Pakistani and Indian friends, and of course my Pakistani and Indian food, I couldn’t agree more.
This guy literally cleans trash in a white T and keeps it spotless.
Here I cannot make it through the starter course of a dinner without staining my white shirts.
Hey your shirt is tucked into your underwear
Plot twist: i am not wearing an underwear
Hey I visited Karachi briefly, glad you're making a positive difference there
Someone actually asked OP "I wonder what's under all that garbage?" and OP calmly replied...
lolll...Interestingly enough, underwear is plural. so 'A pair of underwear'. I don't understand this at all though. Like why do we say a pair of pants? it's one pant, and one underwear. but what about shirts, we say "a shirt' , not a pair of shirts...English is fucking weird.
Unless he forgot the 'y' in 'any'.
I’m pretty sure that’s exactly what happened.
I do it all the time, “that’s” is my kryptonite, I ALWAYS miss the ‘s, ends up looks like,
“That so crazy, man!”
So let go easy on him, ok.
The trick is to try to trick some one to say under where ala Bare Naked Ladies.
Well the word pants comes from the word pantaloons which was plural. I'm not really sure why that word is plural though.
As far as underwear goes, it actually is still a singular word that describes a collection of things. It's a name for a group. Like the word "art". It describes many different things but it is a singular word.
Before the days of modern tailoring, such garments, whether underwear or outerwear, were indeed made in two parts, one for each leg. The pieces were put on each leg separately and then wrapped and tied or belted at the waist (just like cowboys’ chaps). The plural usage persisted out of habit even after the garments had become physically one piece. However, a shirt was a single piece of cloth, so it was always singular.
Yessss love seeing posts from Karachi. If you can get people down to Johar and Nazimabad too that would be great. Keep up the good work!
I’d love to. This i did in my personal capacity. But we can think on it and make it big sure
For sure. People in defence and Clifton love getting on that shit but I really think the other areas of the city like Lyari, FB area and nazimabad etc need more love because they’re not the nicer parts of town so no one is going to care until we do. But glad to see someone doing something, Karachi needs it
I am in for any team effort for such areas!
Nazim-abad was named after Khwaja Nazim Uddin, a Prime Minister of Pakistan (if I remember correctly).
Cities and towns in Pakistan are sometimes named after different peoples, "-abad" suffix means the place where people live. "Abadi" population, "Abad" where population live.
Isn't it kind of obvious considering how many "-abad"s there are? Same as "-stan"s, I'm white as paper and I figured this out.
For "long live", the word is Zinadabad. Zinda- for living, -ba(a)d for remaining. Remain living, is the essence of that word. I might be wrong, but that is what I know.
The basis of these words are Persian. So, a better understanding can be presented by anyone who knows Persian.
It's funny when they do it with white names so you get places like abbottabad or lawrencepur
...You're telling me Abbottabad was named after someone named Abbott?
Jon Stewart once joked that "Abbottabad" sounded too Pakistani to be real, like what an American would come up with if they tried to make up a Pakistani city name. Now I find out it actually comes from an English name.
Yeah major James Abbott was the guy who founded it in the 1850s. It’s on wiki (just educated myself too lol)
Lol. Yes. ABBOTTabad, JACOBabad are examples. I know about Jacobabad that there was a famous Commissioner of the city pre-partition. He is so much revered by the locals, that there is his mausoleum, and locals government officials have his portraits on walls of their offices, alongside Jinnah's (Founder of the Pakistan).
Ok you just blew my mind with abbottabad being a white name originally. I never thought about the spelling because of how it’s said in Urdu lol
Does he go to the Cloud District often?
Great job dude! Love from India.
Player 2 has entered the game.
I used to do this in San Pedro, CA. You guys need to watch the fuck out for dirty needles and I’m serious. It got to the point where I preferred human feces I was so afraid of being pricked.
You are a saint.Karachi really needs this.
Nice!! Great job, keep it going
this is the most gangsta trashtag ever
Watch your back pavelow inbound
Been scanning the thread looking for MW2 references.
Karachi has a lot of garbage, we definitely need more people like you in this country. Keep up the good work.
This is one trend that wouldn't or shouldn't get tiring at any point.
You're the Karachi Kid!
Good Work man. I am from Lahore we need more people here like you.
You’re a badass 👊 greetings from Turkey.
Miniso underwear :p
Great job! I enjoy that you captured the original theme of #trashtag that involved serious posing with the area before and then after the cleanup.
That's amazing! I am so happy you took this to Karachi. It actually needs more people doing this. Just read through more comments and when I read the faces part I almost passed out. Kudos to you! Have you seen more people do this? Or acknowledge trashtag in Karachi?
Curious, what’s the most foul thing you found there?
plot twist: the pictures are reversed
Nuff respect man. Karachi is where my dads side of the family is from.
Kabhi aao na khushbo laga k
Dude that’s awesome!!!! 🙌🏽🙌🏽
Great job! That was a mess. What an amazing difference!
kudos man. going up.
Thank you Pakistan, very cool
I haven’t visited Karachi, but I have visited Mumbai, a city on a similar scale, and the rubbish situation is the same over there. Thankfully, people who follow trends such as #trashtag are making a positive difference in both of these cities! Well done OP!
someone’s gonna make a r/bonehurtingjuice thing out of this by putting the bottom pic on top saying “I’m a thug and I’m gonna empty this trash all over” then the bottom being the top pic saying “oh no I lost my bandana while dumping them”. Then a third where trash is on ground but bandanna on as well saying “found it”.
I hated this map in MW2..
Wow! I love this, this is really inspirational! Keep up the good work and great job!
O yea! Karachiites let's go!
Karachi looks nice.
Any skaters in Karachi? That looks like it's a sick little spot to rip. Good on ya man for making the world a more beautiful place!
Props to you and your contribution to your community. . . Thank you for leading by example by good man!
You rock bearded hero

I just wanted to say, you dress reaaaaallly well my man! love from India, great work!
Great job brotha
You totally earned all the compliments people are sending you. You're an example to us all! Best from NL!
More of this message needs to be spread. Clean up your own and other people's shit and flex about it. You're making it cool for people to keep tidiness, and with that I believe a more positive mental attitude is enforced through environmental factors. Love it g, keep it up and I'm going to try and do something similar, YOU'VE inspired me. Thank you.
Props for taking both pics from the same angle too.
Badass!! Thank you for doing that!!
Keep it up!! Good on ya man. So happy to see this thing continuing
Wow!! Tacked the whole thing down. You are a force to be reckoned with; and I’d reckon with you any day!! Cheers to you friend. Thank you 🙏
Awesome stuff bro, we need more. People like you doing there bit
Heck yes, man.
What if the image below was taken first
Good job! Before this Karachi was just a MW2 map to me lol
Now we need to get the guys from powerwashingporn in there.
Good job! Also your beard is fuckin great.
Feel proud good sir. Hope it stays clean so every time you go past it you can feel your accomplishment again.
Bro, you missed a piece right in that plant next to you.
Seriously tho great job.
Chaa gya hei boy!
You’re awesome bro, I hope this trend keeps growing until we #detrash the world especially when it comes to saving marine life. 🐢🐟🐠🐬🐳🐋🦈🌍📈

How is he able to pick up all that trash with out getting dirty or breaking a sweat..
Hot hot hot
Yyour pocket is pointy yo.
You have the weirdest boner earlier.
A clean up ninja
The realest gangster. Ever.
Incidentally, you seemingly have the power to make cleaning up garbage look incredibly badass. Rock on.
This is amazing :) you’ve inspired me to do the same in my city!
Thank you fellow earthling
Place is beautiful
Man, I don't leave comments much, but this really is an awesome thing to see things getting cleaner. I appreciate the fact that even when majority liters, there's always gonna be someone cleaning up the mess, righting the wrong, making the world a better place day by day. I sincerely thank you for posting this.
Upvoting these never gets old
Awesome job dude. Look at all those bags!
Good job matE!
Nice, great job! Thanks for cleaning that up !
Way to go bro! Keep it up!
Bravo man! 👏 More people need to do this, including me.
I usually hate fads, but this is so ridiculously wholesome and awesome, I love this idea.
I used to volunteer a lot to do riverside cleanups when I was younger, or go out with a bag and clean up trash I saw whenever I went on walks.
I need to start doing that again in my new country.
Great Work Brother. Honestly this post motivated me to do something similar.
I love this shit! This type of shit is why I choose to live :)
Second picture looks like he’s holding a garbage bag’s wife and kids hostage
Killin’ the game
Way to go brother. Feels really good to see Karachites taking the initiative.
I like how you roll, dawg!
nice werk :)
That’s a DOPE beard! Much love from the EU, man. Thank you for doing this.
Badass dude. Praise from Vietnam.
It's good to clean up trash but everyone realizes that it still exists right? Like they just take the trash to dumps where it usually eventually finds a way out. The real victory would be to stop it from being made in the first place.
This is what a patriot looks like
After many decades of "why can't someone..." finally there is the realization that we all are "someone" :)
he ain't no wangsta he's the trashtag gangsta
Shout out from the US, Minnesota, awesome job! Looks great. I can't get enough of these!! You are the man!
Love from India <3
