A lion for Ulster? Also Leinster and Munster a flipped from how the national arms are presented now. There is all kind of cool stuff on that map.
Apparently Ulster uniquely had three coats recorded for it by the King of Arms. These were:
Or, a cross Gules, on an inescutcheon Argent a dexter hand couped, also Gules. (The arms most often used today, and on which Northern Ireland's are based.)
Argent, a dexter hand couped Gules.
Or, a lion rampant double-queued Gules.
