its high quality anime everyone should
Just read the manga.
i don't think you'd recommend that if you read the manga, because for example during the chimera ant arc, the mangaka was very sick and so many panels and even full chapters were super empty and horribly drawn (which just made me feel bad for the guy.) squiggly lines, bad proportions and very little details or background.
so i think the presentation of some stuff like that is def a lot better in the anime.
isnt there a redrawn version of chimera ant arc?
oh if that's true that would be pretty good. i read it as it was getting released and haven't revisited it since (some of it because of these things.)
if they fixed it up afterwards that's good, at least. although i'd still say 2011 anime is very faithful to the manga.
Anime (2011) >>> Manga
the old one had some better scenes
Only one I can think of is Gon vs Hanzo, but 2011 did Gon vs Hisoka much better, and that's definitely the more important fight.
Plus, 2011 is more faithful to the manga overall.
some fights r done better in the new one but most scenes in the 1999ver are just too good like pakunoda last scene before she die , hisoka when he wanted to fight chrollo etc
Yeah, but you're not missing much by not watching these. It's not like you have to watch them.
Like I said, 2011 is more faithful to the manga overall and it's far more up to date with the manga than the original.
you better have a damn good argument for telling someone to watch a cartoon with so many episodes you could be reading half the western canon in the time it takes you to watch it lmfao
It's one hell of a show and you're missing out if you don't watch it.
It's not as long as Naruto, One Piece or Dragonball. It's 148 episodes, and there is 0 filler. Animation and art is also top notch thanks to Madhouse studio.
I literally watched it in a week or so, that's how addictive it was.
