I'm Australian and all I see is risk
I'm Floridian, the risk level for entire-body blood loss by mosquitoes is very very high here. Not to mention some creepy crawly visits from a lot of other guys.
Melbourne Beach man here, I see an awesome escape from reality. Bugs can be warded off . When I look back on my cozy week spent here with a couple good reads and a beautiful girl , I am quite sure I will not remember the minor inconveniences.
*Edit. There is no windows or netting? Hmm. I might have to amend my fantasy.
There is netting. It’s just rolled up. At least that’s what my eyes tell me.
I am Italian, I see profit
Well by the time I start hearing mosquitoes and try to close the netting, they'll all be inside.
Thermacell man. I've been a magnet for mosquitoes my entire life, I borrowed a friend's thermacell for a fly fishing trip in Montana, and I didn't get bit once the entire time. It's amazing how much more effective than all the sprays or permethrin treated clothing it is.
What is this power? Is it possible to learn this power?
all the bugs... all the things flying at your face trying to eat you alive.. ah
My first thought.... the occasional Millipede
Big, big spiders.
From both the tree and everything in it.
Also Australian, I've got a tree house similar to this (just haven't done the roof yet) and there's not that much I can think of as risk, do you mean crawlies?
If you mean crawlies, that's what mozzie coils and citronella are for.
My wife would look at that and say, "Spiders."
It's bullshit that insects have no regard for property laws
Imagine getting all comfy then a bird eating spider skitters out from under one of those pillows.
I feel a kinship with your wife.
Must be Australian, outback survival instinct kicking in.
This is 100% a digital painting.
Man you’ve got me questioning everything now
excellent, keep up the good work
what I love is that the moment someone hears its CG they say it's shit and needs to be deleted, like it isn't still cozy and nice and a great space design
The image is fantastic use of 2d space. But no matter how I try I just can’t squeeze myself into 2d to test it’s coziness!
Digital painter here. No it's not. But it's probably a 3D render.
man, and just when this sub's been relatively well-behaved lately (for a picture sub). I think I've noticed less of the hypersaturated greens and reds...and it seems we've gotten a lot better about avoiding the notorious '@kjp Orange'! (knock on wood)
Yeah what's with the blurry palm tree leaves...this photo is slowly becoming sci-fi
It seems like a half-filmed, half-CGI area in a Marvel film where like, Black Panther & his love interest talk about the severity of the current situation, admit their vulnerabilities & then embrace longingly.
I think it's just the wallpaper that makes it look that way? If it is wallpaper
Railings, mosquito netting, and a fan would make this perfect
More bugs than the Amazon. (more bugs than Amazon prime video too)
On the ground and beside a tree does not make it a tree house.
Disease carrying mosquito bites
that's nice but bugs
Without the bugs and dangers i’d definitely sleep here
Meh, I can smell the mold and feel the rain
I hope they don’t roll around in their sleep!
Anyone else worried about that lantern being so close to the bedding?
Naw, its in a photograph. We're safe.
Welp, that's it, time to change out my phone background.
This is where Kvothe and Felurian spent time in the Fae
WHERE IS THIS
Where do I get one of those bed things? They look comfy.
Spiders...so many spiders.
I wanna fuck there. So beautiful.
This is what I picture the furnished tree platforms from The Forest to be like IRL
Waiting for the cannibals to trash it
I don’t care. Bugs shmugs. This is fucking heaven!
Goddamn, now this is what cozy looks like 👌
This on some Donkey Kong or Mortal Kombat shit
Truly stunning! This look like the background could be photoshopped but it’s truly a lovely creation.
What is cozy about a place where dangers can spawn left and right? Cozy places need to provide safety
Really curious how that pillow isn't falling off.
Look at the plants in the background, it's fake
all I see is bugs while you are sleeping
Does anyone know where I could find rugs/material like this? I really want to start piecing stuff like this together for a space but don't know where to begin.
What would these rugs even be called? They aren't fur and they look thicker than most faux stuff I've seen.
now this looks cozy!
