I still love em
Yeah. My wife put them everywhere.
Of course...I bought them for her.
Also this sub would go to your Instagram to steal your pictures and take turn to re-post that shit on reddit.
I've something I need to get off my chest: I don't really think those fairy light strings make anything any cozier, all they do in my mind is make stuff seem messier and more kinda... trashy, I guess?
i enjoy seeing opinions absolutely opposite of mine on harmless things, i could never imagine feeling that way about those lights and it really highlights how intrinsically different everyone can be. idk random thought
I think what you're trying to convey is that you can't stand when people are fucking wrong on the internet
Maybe its because my house has shitty wiring and cats, but I always see them as huge fucking fire hazards.
Agreed. I’ve seen the rare occasion where they are well done, but it’s very rare. And usually some other type of string light would still be better.
To me they just look like a cheap college dorm and a substitute for actually decorating.
Definitely. It's cheap, messy and doesn't look good. I prefer lifx bulbs into some nice lamps.
there are many that are very poorly executed and makes it look trashy and messy
Haha, so true.
Let me just kick this unrelated box under my bed here...
Fairy lights are passé.
Is this British ebonics?
I know this isn't the right sub, but there are some wayyy crazier Scottish tweets that you basically need a decoder to read
For a sec, I thought I've subscribed to a interior design CJ (which I would love to join plz)
On a deed body?
40 comments, almost 2400 upvotes. A picture of a tweet that's basically garbled nonsense that's cropped like ass.
Is someone paying for votes or something?
Nah, it's just something I think a lot of people on this sub want to say but dare not to in fear of having a different opinion to what appears to be popular.
Not only is this a repost, the weird spelling out of a Scottish accent for no reason is embarrassing.
I don't spell out "farrest" and "ahrinj" even though my Queens accent means I pronounce "forest" and "orange" that way.
Scottish Twitter is a thing, it’s not just done for ‘no reason’. It’s not that deep...
Yeah, I know it's a thing. It's dumb.
It's called patter mate, ye wouldnae get it.
Writing out accents is terrible in social media and fiction. Unless you use it sparingly to remind people that the person has an accent.
My bad on the repost I didnt see it last time it was posted. It just popped up on my explore and thought it fit here.
Don't sweat it, I hadn't seen it and found it pretty funny. Who actually comes on to this sub and acts all angry anyway. I find the photos posted here very nice and relaxing :)
Sorry, I don't speak hoodyslexia; can you translate it to English, please?
