TIL hazelnuts are called Filbert's...
If they touched other mixed nuts then i can't eat them, I have a nut allergy... /s
How does that contain peanut oil but not actually peanuts?
QED - The peanut oil is there to keep the nuts from sticking to each other and to enhance their color for the undiscerning. Plus, you know, ahem, lubrication. Furthermore, some people don't like the fact that peanuts are often used as filler for what they feel are superior nuts. Damned nutists!
edit: My return key snuck in too early.
I hate it when my nuts stick together!
Don't know why, when I hear the term 'mixed nuts' I immediately think of all the great comedians and humorists gathered together to prey on their humorless minions.
My mind is a verdant valley for the conspiracies no one else sees in our world.
